ZIDANE'S NEW ERA BEGINS: FRANCE READY FOR HIS FIRST MATCH

A new chapter for French football starts tonight.

Zinedine Zidane will take charge of France for the first time as Les Bleus face Türkiye in their opening UEFA Nations League match. It is Zidane's first game as national team manager since replacing Didier Deschamps this summer.

The 54-year-old returns to the touchline after his successful spells with Real Madrid, where he won three consecutive Champions League titles. Now, he takes charge of a France squad led by captain Kylian Mbappé.

Zidane admitted that he feels “immense emotion” ahead of his first match in charge — even more than before his own playing debut for France.

Tonight's clash in Kocaeli marks the beginning of the Zidane era.
